I am that green algae at the edge of the gutter. I know that today or tomorrow the water will wash me away. I know that at dusk I will be crushed beneath the feet of passersby, weary of their daily lives. I know… But there is a love in my green heart that has made me fearless. It has stripped away my pretense, my complaint, and my murmuring. Every day, for the love of the sun’s warmth, I cry out with my whole being in fresh green… I am in love…
