While reading about the life of Qa'em-Maqam Farahani, I came across something striking. When the British realized they could neither buy nor manipulate a patriot like him, they reportedly wrote to their superiors asking for money to have him killed. The request was apparently approved. Rather than hire an assassin, the British envoy went to the clerics of the day and paid them handsomely. For a week they preached that this 'traitor to Islam' had to be eliminated. What happened? The king, Mohammad Shah Qajar, ordered Farahani imprisoned and, a few days later, killed. The British envoy reportedly rode through the city to see how people reacted. To his astonishment, they were celebrating, embracing each other in tears and saying they were finally rid of an infidel. Does that foul smell seem familiar? Yes, just like the calamity of 1979. A patriot, Shahanshah Aryamehr, was driven out, and the unwitting people celebrated. Who helped make it happen? Those damned clerics. Why should we let history repeat itself? Why let people like 'Asi and Mosi' and their kind steal this revolution while the true patriot, our Shah Reza Shah II, goes unseen? Not today. We are aware. We are awake. We stand together. We are Iran. Long live Iran. #جاویدشاه
