#رشتو On the road to revolution: an inflatable boat or a rowboat? 1/7 One day, two groups at sea decided to race to shore. One group had a rowboat. The other had an inflatable boat. I was aboard the inflatable boat. #مهسا_امینی #انقلاب۱۴۰۱

/7 Each group had a helmsman to lead the crew and steer the boat. The other group worked hard. Everyone rowed in rhythm. Their helmsman stamped his foot to set the beat, and every stroke followed it.

/7 Things were easier in our boat. Most people relied on the wind and the helmsman's skill and judgment. For the first few hours, everything seemed effortless. Some sat in a corner chatting and laughing at the other crew: why did they have to work so hard when we were so clever?

/7 Everything was going well. Our boat was miles ahead, and we had already begun celebrating victory. The other crew, though far behind, did not give up or hesitate for a moment. Until... The wind suddenly died. We looked at one another in disbelief. The boat stopped.

/7 Everyone had something to say. One insisted the helmsman knew what to do. Another said we were still far ahead and the wind would soon return. It did return, but from the wrong direction. The helmsman shouted that we had to pick up oars and work together without relying on the wind. An argument broke out. I stared, stunned, as the other boat passed us.

/7 I shouted, “Friends, companions, comrades! They've passed us. We're about to lose for nothing!” They did not listen. Instead, they snapped at me: “You're a paid agent. You want to sow despair.” How painful it was to watch the other crew advance in order while our own side fell into disarray.

/7 The helmsman cried, “Enough! I cannot steer this boat without you. Without you, we cannot muster the strength to fight the wind or the enemy. We have to stand together.” Only together can we reach a safe shore. Together. So, my fellow Iranians, we must work alongside the prince to reach the shore of freedom. #مهسا_امینی #جاویدشاه
