Exile. An accursed word, and one that has no single place on the map for Iranians. The one who said goodbye to the soil of home and the scent of a mother's clothes and went abroad; the one who saw a friend off on that journey: both live in exile. An exile whose end is not at an airport, a dock, or a border crossing. Its end lies in Iran itself. Its end is the Islamic Republic. #جاویدشاه
