The wolf that has lived through the rain knows how cruel it can be. Drizzle or downpour, being soaked makes little difference to it now. For everyone else, rain beyond the window and drops tapping the sill can sound beautiful. Instead of sitting around asking why one person spoke, another stayed silent in a fight, and a third shouted, we should go out into the fray ourselves. Only then, after taking blows and striking back, might we understand the pain of being judged from the sidelines.
