Let Us Take Our Place in the Final Act

My fellow Iranian, my friend, a part of me: there is little time left. If we sit with folded hands, our history will fill with painful farewells we never had the chance to hear, with the absence of good people who fought so you and I could remain.
We can spend hours in an X Space, move from one hashtag to the next tweet, and leave behind no more than a hashtag in memory of us. Believe me, our names might survive a month among a handful of followers, followed by statements of concern from a few aimless organizations on the left.
It is time to admit that we have not even properly put on the clothes for this struggle. Too often we hear that a comrade has been killed, post a hashtag, and stop there instead of fighting and making our generation worthy of remembrance.
I know in my heart that you are honorable and that you love Iran and our king. But many people in 1979 opposed the Islamic Republic and loved the Shah. They stayed silent and abandoned him. We saw what followed.
Beneath these bitter words, I still believe in you. I know you are embers beneath the ash, capable of shaking this corrupt system.
Let us put an end to these forced, painful goodbyes: the forced departure from our homeland, and lives cut short. Let us step beyond hashtags and refuse to be played. Let us take our place in the final act of this national revolution, where light overcomes darkness.
Long live Iran.
My life for my homeland, Iran. My life for my king, Reza Shah II @PahlaviReza.
