My choice today is neither this nor that, neither a reckless war nor the green of the Guards. Not the arched brow and polished suit, not the tyrant's false mark of piety on his forehead. Today I give my heart to honor and to my homeland, Iran. I choose to clear the scavengers from the table and reclaim the land they have left in ruins. I choose to be Iranian. I do not choose a religion, a sect, or the faithful man's clothes. I choose, simply and wholly, to be Iranian. I choose an Iran whose monarchy is part of its pride and dignity. I choose a monarchy in the colors of the Pahlavis. I choose a royal Iran and a crown for my king, Reza Shah II. I choose freedom. #جاویدشاه
