In the days when Shahanshah Aryamehr ruled Iran, peace was more than a hope framed by a prize. To me, he had helped extend it beyond the Middle East, across much of the world. Today an Iranian woman becomes a symbol of peace while, for years, women in Iran have been denied even a moment's ease. Some wish they did not have to live as women under such conditions. When Iranian women could live their freedom, there was peace, too, and no need to dream of a Nobel Prize. #آرمیتا_گراوند #جاویدشاه
