Listen, my friend, my fellow Iranian, part of my own flesh. What’s past is past. Instead of looking back, we must follow the command of the king of Iran and look ahead to the future. As Agha Bozorg used to say, regret is for the weak. You and I have no time for regret, no time to sit and sigh. We ourselves must fight and bring back the king. The generations after us are counting on us. This is a time for battle: honor against wickedness, light against darkness. We all know that light will overcome darkness. So get up. Hold your head high and join hands with me and millions of honorable Iranians. Let us become the sun on the flag and, beside the king and the Lion of Iran, overcome the darkness. This is a time for battle. Let’s stand together and win. Long live the Shah.
